Buckhorn Island State Park
Buckhorn Island main trail is a 4.1 mile out and back trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels.

Several shorter trails run off the main trail.
West River Shoreline Trail
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation converted the former West River Parkway
into a multiuse recreational trail that connects the City of Buffalo to the City of Niagara Falls.
The $2.5 million project transformed two lanes of highway into a vehicle-free multiuse, multi-season trail that runs along
eight miles of the Niagara River from Beaver Island State Park to Buckhorn State Park.
It includes refurbished overlooks, landscaping and year-round access to the water, while closing a significant gap in the Niagara River Greenway Shoreline Trail.
