NOTICE OF A MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
July 7, 2022 BEGINNING AT 7:00 PM
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Grand Island will
hold a meeting and public hearings on the matters set forth below on July 7, 2022, beginning at
7:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Executive Order 202.1, as extended, the public
hearings will be held remotely via ZOOM with a telephone dial-in component or in person. The
ZOOM public meeting at which the public hearings will be conducted will be accessible either
with a computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet connection at the following:

the meeting may be joined with a simple click. Alternatively, the meeting may be joined by
telephone by dialing 646-558-8656 and by entering the passcode 449191
when prompted. The Zoning Board of Appeals will immediately begin accepting written public
comments on the below matters by e-mail at rtollner@grand-island.ny.us, by fax at 716-773-
9618, and by U.S. mail to the Town Clerk at 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.
Public hearings will be held for the following matters in numerical order:
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
Extension filed by John Stickl for the construction of a single-family dwelling at 3965 East River
Road.
2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by Annie Gillies for the expansion of a driveway at 1547 Broadway.
3. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by Steven Kowalik for the expansion of a driveway at 1541 Broadway.
4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by Donna Wylke for the construction of a detached garage at 63 Spicer Creek Run.
5. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by Christopher Brau for the construction of a detached garage at 35 Briarwood Lane.
6. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by The Laird Family Limited for the expansion of a driveway at 907 Carter Creek Drive.
7. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on an application for a Variance
filed by Nancy Gralik for the expansion of a driveway at 3369 Warner Drive.
Copies of the referenced variance applications are available at Town Hall. Residents who do not
wish to speak at the public hearings, but wish to watch the proceedings, may do so on the
Town’s YouTube channel, accessible by link on the Town’s website http://www.grandisland.ny.us.
